StrangerYou see a stranger, a harmless young stranger wobbling along the sidewalk clenching fists of his hair frantically. He's muttering to himself, "Don't let them put you there, don't let them put you there!" and "breathe, breathe, breathe!"

He sees you, looks at you desperately, and rushes in your direction. At first you panic but you quickly realize he is in danger and needs anybody, just anybody to listen to him.

He reaches you and his words all come gushing out "help me! Help me, help me please!"

You look around nervously. Maybe he isn't talking to you. But you see that you are the only one there.

"Yes? What's wrong?" you stammer. You look

the leaves crumbling off the trees

into the void of ocean water

the air is like a glass of tap water

smells like metal and broken branches

making my heart beat with exclamation

rain rain rain!

i feel it like the blood in my veins

there's a black cloud blocking the sun

and i'm singing because the cold has begun

i want it to last forever

but the night will come like a dirty fist

and knock me senseless into a teary fiasco

do i fight or accept it?

i won't ponder that now -

i prance barefooted into the earthy mound

of ashes

I love cassette tapes. I actually don't own (or even want) an Ipod or mp3. I just carry around a few tapes and a portable cassette player.
