I agree, but it's not easy finding the tape you want to finish a collection. Neither is it easy to find a tape player that doesn't make them sound distorted.
What really annoys me is buying the tape you've seemed from a second-hand shop, only to place it the player to find out that the tape is broken after being on for 10 seconds - also it's the same predicament when you fast forward/rewind the tape to the end only to find the machine's still winding...but the tape was supposed to stop ages ago(!)
I still have 2 cassette players and loads of tapes. When my brother starts compaining about how he dosen't have an IPod I threaten him by saying that I will make him listen to my cassetes. Then he shuts up because he thinks that anything that happened before him is bad and anceint.
