In all it's simplicity, this would be a piece I would enjoy staring at for quite awhile. The gradient backdrop sets a nice tone for me as I'm feeling a sense of nostalgia, calmness, and a hint of surrealism. Very fine points for me. The specks of paint are nice effect. Surrealism speaks of how the trees are portrayed. They seem like red coral in a vast ocean. Even though they are in one solid eye-catching color, they don't scream attention. They gradually lower my eyes to one focal point: The tire swing. That's where I'm reminded of the feeling of swinging in one as a kid. It brought a smirk to my face but it's also a little bittersweet as it looks desolate and abandoned. It reminds me, that it's always there even if I have moved on, waiting as it always do, to bring me back when I need to be reminded of feelings that got lost along the way. Well done.
